Volunteer: Serve Dinner at Recovery on Redwood

Exciting News!

The Center for Women & Children has moved to Recovery on Redwood, bringing our Men’s and Women’s Detox Programs together under one roof! Now, during our volunteer dinner service, you’ll have the opportunity to serve meals to residents of both programs. Help prepare and serve a meal, supporting those on their recovery journey.

Our residents are experiencing housing insecurity and substance addiction. Our dedicated case managers and staff assist residents with connecting to community resources that move them toward greater self-sufficiency.

All volunteers must be at least 18.

You are responsible for assisting with food prep and cleaning the kitchen area, including washing and storing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and wiping down the countertops/cookware.

You may take pictures of your group in the kitchen (and we're happy to help take pictures for you!), but please respect the privacy of our clients and ensure they are not included in these pictures.
