Volunteer: Garden Group at the Center for Women and Children

Join us in making a positive impact by volunteering in our garden at our women's and children's detox facility. By participating in this volunteer opportunity, you can contribute to their healing process and promote a sense of well-being.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to assist with various gardening tasks, such as planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting. No prior gardening experience is necessary, as we will provide guidance and support throughout your volunteer experience

Gardening Volunteer Guidelines

Volunteers must be aged 18 and up.  Groups must make arrangements with the Volunteer Coordinator.  You will be working outside, so prepare accordingly (bring a water bottle, wear a sun hat, jacket, sunscreen, etc.). You may bring your gardening tools and gloves. Some gardening tools are available for use. Please note, you will be responsible for keeping track of your belongings.   No photos or videos of our clients are permitted.
