Volunteer: Meal Preparation at the WRC

We appreciate your interest in volunteering at our Women's Resource Center. Our kitchen staff needs volunteers who feel comfortable around the kitchen to help prepare for the week's meals. Tasks include, but are not limited to: washing, peeling, chopping produce; cupping condiment containers; working in the dish room; etc.

Meal Preparation and Service Guidelines: Meal volunteers must be at least 16 to be in the kitchen.Photos with clients are not permitted at any time. Group photos for social media, etc,. are permitted if clients are not depicted. News media is generally not allowed to report on volunteer shifts.Wear safe and appropriate kitchen attire, including closed-toe rubber-soled shoes. Cancellations must occur at least 48 hours in advance.
